If you have made up your mind to visit Buddha temple then please keep the following things in mind :
- They are very strict when it comes to cleanliness, and doing anything that may effect the tidiness of the temple or garden can result in fine.
- They have a special board that say “kripya prem pardarshan na karen” meaning please do not show love and affection (in respect of couples). So, don’t try to be romantic when inside the premises of the temple.

The distance from the main ISBT of Dehradun city to Buddha temple is just 4.8 km and it should not take more than 20 min to reach if there is moderate traffic, with heavy traffic it may take upto half an hour.
Transportation is a concern when going to Buddha temple. If you are new in the city then it will be better to keep local with you as small streets and short routs may boggle you.
