Nationality/ Citizenship

The candidate who is applying for SSC GD constable should be a citizen of India i.e. the candidate must have Indian citizenship. The candidate who is applying for SSC GD constable should be a citizen of India i.e. the candidate must have Indian citizenship. There are vacancies in various posts(BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, and SSF) according to the state/union territory, so the candidate must submit domicile/ PRC of his/her state or Union territory

SSC GD Constable Bharti Age Limit Criteria

  • The candidate age should be between 18 to 23 years.
  • There is a certain date which is given by SSC, If the candidate’s age is between 18 to 23 by that date then they can apply for the form.
  • If the age of the candidate is earlier than and later than the age limit mentioned in this post till the date given by SSC then that candidate will not be able to apply for the SSC GD constable form.
  • Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories SC, ST, OBC, and some other categories.

SSC GD Constable Education Qualification

  • The minimum qualification of the candidate is to have passed the Matriculation or 10th class examination from any recognized Board/University.
  • Candidates who have not acquired the minimum educational qualification will not be eligible to apply.
  • Those candidates who are waiting for the result or the candidates who are required Qualification not completed by the date mentioned by SSC will not be eligible to fill SSC GD Constable Form.
  • All certificates such as mark sheet, Date of Birth, Caste Hill Areas, and Age Relaxation in any category for age relaxation, No Objection Certificate(NOC), Discharge Certificate (in case of Ex-Servicemen and any other Government employee).
  • The candidate should have one self-attested copy of each certificate along with the original certificate, which is examined and verified at the time of DME.

SSC GD Constable Physical Qualification(For Male and Female)

The students who pass the computer-based examinations(CBE) will undergo a physical eligibility test(PET) in which the candidates should be qualified in physical standards, the physical standard consists of the measurement of weight, height, and chest, the physical standard is different for both males and females candidates.

Important notes Related to PET/PST:

  • Pregnant females will not be allowed for physical eligibility test they will be rejected in this stage.
  • Candidates who are ex-servicemen and have passed the Computer Based Test will not be called for the Physical Efficiency Test but will have to appear in PTE Phase for verification of height, weight, and chest measurement according to the standards.
  • PET qualifying candidates will undergo a further medical examination.

SSC GD Constable Medical Qualification and Eligibility Criteria

Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo DME after qualifying Computer Based Test (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).   3. Size Of Tattoo: The tattoo should be less than 1/4 of the particular part of the body (elbow or arm).
