The Vast Green Beautiful Meadows of Dayara Bugyal: Dayara Bugyal is situated in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand and is a very beautiful and pleasant place and remains such every season of the year. The height at which this beautiful place is situated is around 3000 meters and the trek to this place can also be known as the beginners’ trek. The visiting time in these vast grasslands is from May to November, but the tourists and travel enthusiasts visit here in winters too as the snowfall is heavy in these areas in winters.

How to Reach There?

The route to Dayara lies on the way to Gangotri and Harsil route, on the main highway a route is diverted to the left and is a motorable road to some extent and after some time the trek to the Bugyal starts. The way to the trek is covered with trees and heavy greenery on the sides and the last village on this road is the Barsu village where you can meet the locals and learn about their culture and the way of living life at the bugyals.

Route from Nearby Cities?

You can catch a bus or taxi from Dehradun or Rishikesh to Uttarkashi which would be around 180kms and there are plenty of hotels in Uttarkashi if one wants to rest and plan the rest of the journey from three. You can then catch a taxi to the road which leads to the trekking to Dayara, everyone should carry their belongings to the trek because one may or may not find any commercial shops or stalls there.

Pitching your tent would be the best experience at that place, however, there are certain other travel agencies which provide different kinds of tour packages and if you are unaware of the place and are going there for the first time then you should plan your trip with the travel agencies.
